Education vs Insurance

Using 2018 data, I was able to find a connection between education and healthcare accessacross the U.S. In this project, I looked at how the percentage of people who attended some college compares to the percentage of uninsured individuals. To make the data easy to interpret, I stacked the maps so you can see how education levels and insurance coverage relate across different regions. I aligned key stats with their respective maps for clarity and placed the comparison graph in the center since it ties both maps together. I also made sure the colors in the charts matched the map symbology to keep everything consistent and easy to read. For text, I used Cooper font to make it more visually appealing, and I manually adjusted the labels and titles in ArcGIS Pro to have more control over the design. I also used a cross symbol to represent uninsured rates since it naturally connects to healthcare. My goal was to create a clear and engaging visualization that highlights how education levels impact healthcare coverage.
